Thread: Something so funny!!

My brother in law is a singer and session player and has a band. His band from Auburn got together last night after 40 plus years. They played a street dance. One of the band members and I have a special platonic friendship that started yrs ago when we were at a hole in the wall where they were playing one night when he started slapping and killing the roaches on the wall. Since then when we see each other one of us will clap hands and we go into hysterics. My son and his wife went last night and as we were driving home he said , I saw that (player) flirting with you. You have to be careful because some men like large women!!! (think 300 lbs) I got such a kick out of it, that my 37 yr old was going to give his ol mom advice and that he thinks at my size I still need to be careful!! I loved all of it, the flirting and the advice!

I didn't realize that. I know I have never experienced the nastiness some people say they experience because of their size. I have just always thought men were being very friendly. It didn't even dawn on me they could be flirting. I guess because I am not interested I just never noticed. My sister used to complain everywhere we went about men flirting with her. I told her just don't look them in the eye and they can't flirt with you. After she fell in love she found they quit flirting with her. Funny how we all perceive things differently. My son has had a good time with this.
