Had a nice gesture happen to me today
I stopped by a connvience mart to get a cup of coffee. A guy I reconized for last week asked me how my Tuesday went because my motto is as long as it isn't Monday morning it is a good day.
Anyway last week he spilled his coffee all over the counter & me being a natural mother just automatically went to clean it up.
Today when I went to go pay for my coffee, he had already paid for it for me. He was already in his car when I went to thank him. He said he did it because I was so nice to help him while other people would have bit his head off.
See I CAN be nice!

A little over ten years ago, when I worked at McDonald's (worked there ten years and loved my job btw) I had a customer who didn't have quite enough money so I kicked in nearly a dollar. I did that when folks couldn't quite make the total. It was never much...folks would be off a few cents, no biggie.
Anyhow, my kitchen sink stopped up and who should come to my door to fix it? Yep, the guy I waited on that day. He gave me a serious discount. I was flabbergasted. When I do something for someone I don't expect to be repaid so I was happy that day, to say the least. I've had him back since, no discount but that makes no difference and I'll have him back again. He showed his integrity when he gave me that discount...not that I deserved it or anything...you know what I mean.What Goes Around, Comes Around

I totally agree. I feel that if you do for others, it will come back to you when you most need it from a place you didn't expect. God is good that way.
