Have they put out an Amber Alert, or do they only do that for kidnapped kids?

From what I have found out they will only issue an Amber alert if the runaway is in physical danger. Which makes no dang sense to me because it's obvious she is in physical danger. This is making me sick, I cant sleep I feel I need to be doing something.

I do have the address, it's a P.O. Box but do have the physical address of the boys mother. Yes, I think I've confirmed he is an actual teenager. I chatted with his aunt and she is very upset at the boy. She has contacted the local police in her area and they will be doing some cross referencing tomorrow. I have family across the nation on the lookout. If anyone wants to help us get a list of truck stops, and bus stations contact information together on the route from my location to the destination and contact them with the information, possibly email or fax the flyers to them to post, I would be forever grateful.

As far as posting flyers at bus stations, I would call Greyhoud corporate office and see if they will send out a mass fax to all of their locations. My mom used to own a station and she would get faxes like that occasionally.

I am so sorry. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. I am watching the post and hoping to see that she has come home. I don't understand about the Amber alert. I would think any run away would be considered in danger. I haven't even seen it in our paper or heard about it on the news. I heard an Amber alert last night and thought it might be yours but it wasn't. I'm in Bham so not that far from you.
