    a very serious question

Why do you think children always undress their dolls? Many of them prefer to play with a naked baby doll. Why do you suppose it is that way? I would love to hear a psychiatrists answer to that.

In my experience, girls undress dolls and boys take the tires off of their trucks/tractors. I have no idea why, but they do, pretty much every last one.

    Because they can.

Really, that is a good question. One would think that they would be all about the cute dresses for the dolls. I think that hits more when they get to school age. Preschoolers take the clothes off, then get told "no" often enough when they ask parents to re-dress for them because they lack the dexterity, that they just give up, and play with dolls going Au natural.
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.

Yeah......this...just like the truck tires......they can get them off, but cant get them back on and Mommy or Daddy wont do it all the time.

I am going with because they can. LOL

My DS has always taken apart his toys. When he was little we would have those tiny little screws all over the place and a bunch of busted toys!!!!!! In fact, we still do. I dont know why he takes apart EVERYTHING still!!! At least now he puts things back together. LOL

I dunno. As a little girl I would love to play dress-up with my barbies. Some of their outfits were just so beautiful, I would prance them around in their fancy dresses LOL

Well I'll say this, my two year old would run around naked ALL the time if I let her. So I think that she must think that her babies feel better naked too! LOL

I think maybe they're curious about whats under the clothes. But it does make you wonder why they do it.
