Do you have any crazy fears?

My 2 biggest crazy fears are fear of heights and fear of roaches, especially flying ones. I have also caused my 2 girls to be afraid of roaches too. I would not even want to live in a high rise condo. We once lived on the 3rd floor and that was high enough for me.
I had a neighbor who was afraid of cats. She walked home from work everyday, only about a block, but there were lots of cats along that block.

Heights, snakes and spiders. They tease me at work because I make the warehouse guys kill the spiders and get the things off the top shelves because I wont even use the step stool. LUCKILY snakes arent a problem there......that I know of.

I'm very afraid of mice or rats. When I was a kid we lived in a really old house that had the big rats. Sometimes I'd hear the cat get in fights with them or something. It sounded like the rat won the noise the cat was making. And once when I was sleeping one jumped off the chesterdrawers and landed on me. I liked to have freaked out. I'd open drawers and they'd jump out at you. Thats probably why I'm so scared of them.

And another thing is elevators. I hate to ride one alone. I'm afraid of being stuck in one or it falling down all the floors.

    hights and bridges.

its funny, when i was younger i loved both of them, lol! not sure if its just me, or just knowing i'm mortal. as with the opposite when i was younger, i was invincible, nothing could kill me, lol! i stood at the top of the Eiffel tower in Paris and also looked down the Mulholland drive cliff in Hollywood. Never had a problem then, infact it was "soooo cooool" !!!

these days when i go over a bridge in the car (only with me driving, not a problem with anyone else) i get white knuckles and anxiety. its the worst cause the bridge is always high, so it infuses both of my fears

I can't stand moths. I'm not sure why. Just don't care for the way they look or stick to anything.

My mom and brother both are Coulrophobia (fear of clowns) w/a passion. Mom wouldn't get near one if her life ever depended on it. Brother is afraid because you can't see beyond the makeup of the "real person". He's been like that since he was very little. He won't even take his own children to see a clown anywhere because of his fear.

Mom on the other hand just thought they were weird looking and that's what bothered her.

    Simply put.

I have always had a fear of rain. My mom said it was from being just 11 months old during celia in 1970, and our town pretty much being the center.

All I know is I freeze uo duringthe rain. makes driving so fun! (NOT)

    Crickets.......they're just creepy looking!

And 2 specific bridges. LOL. Any other bridges are fine, but there are 2 that just freak me out!

I have always had a fear of getting lost, so I don't travel to places I've never been or areas with which I'm not very familiar unless I have a map someone has made for me. And I leave early, just in case. I used to feel silly when I told folks but this is a legitimate fear and if they can't understand it, oh well.

Ok don't laugh, but I am terrified of balloons. I hate them, will do whatever I can to not be around them at parties and such. I have been at parties that had so many of them around that I had to leave cuz of the fear. I hate the sound they make when they pop and am afraid of kids choking on them. I cannot think of anything in my life that happened to create this fear, and I know I was not afraid of them as a kid, but now all my family and friends know not to bring them around me or I will freak out.
