How you ever sued anyone?
Have you ever sued anyone?
We have had 2 times when we could have sued and probably won and chose not to.
Recently I read where 700 recipients won 600 million dollars from the company that makes Avandia. Avandia has been shown to cause heart attacks, and strokes. I had a heart attack while taking Avandia. Of course I don't know why I had a heart attack, Avandia or not. This drug is still being prescribed. I don't understand this.
I know a family who seem to have made a career of suing people/companies.

We have sued one person(a bogus contractor) in small claims court. Won a $4,400 settlement, but could not get him to pay, so it was all for nothing, but it sounds like you have a good case. I would check with a lawyer definitely.

Only once in small claims court. I won against someone who owed me money ($2500) but she never paid.
I was going to sue a former business partner for money he still owed me after he disslolved the company but he filed for bancruptcy before I could file.

Isn't small claims court such a waste of time? What is the point of going through all the time, and trouble to have the court, or no one else help you get your money that you win?

I wondered that too, after watching these court shows on tv when they are awarded money and I wonder who makes sure they pay.

Most of the court tv shows ( Judge Judy, Matthis, Peoples' Court ) have a fund to pay the litigants ... the winner recieves their settlement from the other person's share; producers get their share from the advertisers and syndcation rights.

Actually... and it could be different now... but I looked it up once and the participants of Judge Judy are NOT payed. I have often wondered if that is true since Judge Judy does often talk about checks being made out to creditors and not the individuals present. I don't know... but I always thought for ppl who aren't on tv could have wages garnered like they do for child support and stuff... can they not?
