I agree, speak with her pedi. No doubt the doctor needs to know.

But fits just make me shiver. I refuse: REFUSE to give in to a fit.
T is good at them: trying to get his way. I stand my ground, and tell him flat out that a 9 year old does not control this house. We are not a democracy, nor is the house FAIR. Adults make the rules, and the children... they get to live here.

LOL..I love that I tell her and her dad all the time.."A six yr old does not run my house she can hate me all she wants I know I am mean and I came to terms with it long ago you need to as well" I just feel so mean at times because she is never told NO unless its me that tells her that and like I said before i am over ruled,I went through the fridge and cabinets yesturday and got rid of everything that is not "healthy" I guess she will just have to deal and I contacted the ped I saw when I was little I am taking her in to see whats wrong.I also found out that the reason she has a cough at night is because of acid reflux that would have been good to know 6 months ago.

You know the saying it takes a village to raise a child..What happens when your village is full of idiots?

I want to thank you all I am glad someone else sees this is not "right" and I am not just a mean crazy step mom.
Really?Thats probably not the smartest thing you have done today...HUH?

I was told at breakfast that I was a mean person. I made breakfast: and do not allow TV at meal time.
I made pancakes. I am ok with being mean, and only giving him 3

I was the only one that has told him NO... until recently. Daddy started saying no when he threw a fit in the video store.

Joe admits he spoiled him: he is an only child, and he felt guilty for that!
Well, now there are 4 of us in this house: and one that stays here during college breaks: so he is not alone anymore, has not been all year. Time to adjust is over.

My DS is usually a VERY healthy eater...except when he is going thru a growth spurt! He eats anything and everything then. Whenever he asks me to buy Pop Tarts and Pizza Rolls at the store, I know he is starting to go thru another growth spurt! LOL
    Keep your chin up!
