Indy 500
Joe's work gave him 2 tickets for the 500! I love racing, and he wanted to do this for me.
So we went, and they were General Admission, so he traded them in plus a little cash, for Turn 3 seats! Perfect place to be.
Turn 3 is great. I had a wonderful day. The wreck at the end (end of lap 198) was maybe 200 yards from our seats.
But, we had a great time.
Saw Tim Daly, Jim Nabors, Jewel and Florence Henderson...
Plus Ron Perlman, Eric Close and Jack Nickleson.
When they announced Danicka.. The entire crowd BOOed louder than they cheered for any other driver. WEIRD
Wish Helio had won.
What a day!

Glad you got to go. I wish Helio would have won but I was glad that Dario won since that gave Ganassi something that Roger Penski didn't have (winning Daytona 500 & Indy 500 in the same year).
I think Indy fans have figured out that Danica is just a "also ran" driver and will never live up to the hype created by her in the media. I personally prefer Sarah Fisher she is much more down to earth and knows how to race without taking her clothes off on tv.

Dario ran a clean race, and lead most of it. he deserves the win... just a shame it will have that dratted * because of the caution flag

The one thing I thought was very funny was his (Dario's) wife Ashley - with all the money those two have can't she afford a pair of tennis shoes so she doesn't have to run down pit lane barefooted? This was the second time he won and she did the same thing the first time, you think she would have been better prepared. LOL
