the further story of my adventures lol
Ok some of you know I thought i had my dream job here in Long Island. Well the woman and the family ended up being nutcases lol 10 hour days of work 7 days a week with $50 a week pay if it was a good week . lol gave her 2 weeks notice she hired first answer from craig's list a day later. I have been living in an unfinished open basement with insulation falling on me from the ceiling lol.
I started looking for live in jobs one was in a poor neighborhood but with nice people and another one was some more nutcases in staten island.
Fast forward today , I am sitting here and found a bus to boston for $15 so I started looking for job in boston( though I really would rather stay here in nyc) I have found one. maybe 5 hours worth of work a day weekends off for 400. talked to the woman divorced doc 2 kids really really nice. As we talked we found out she went to prep school in the little town in ct where i was raised
and said i would have my own room in boston with full use of the house and paid vacation and holidays. Sounded great then I tell her my catch that I am in Long Island and would have to come up to interview.
Instead of freaking out she tells me she is interviewing at a hospital in manhattan and would I mind moving back down here Mind I would love it. Then she tells me she is trying to buy a townhouse by central park that comes with 2 studio apts and I get one of the apts. MY GOD these apts would easily rent for 3,000 a month.
I leave for Boston on friday, wish me luck again lol

I was concerned for you when you talked of your boss "dumpster diving" and getting brand new high dollar items for free. It just didnt sound right.

Sounds great. Good luck. I love Boston. I went to university there and now live 30 miles west of the city. Congrats, it sounds like a good situation.
