Question Whats the most money your spent on a hotel room?

Mine is probably around $175 a nite @ Caesars Palace in Vegas. It wasn't a suite, but it had a view of the strip, the Bellagio Fountains and the bathroom was just about as big as the bedroom! Giant hot-tub! Oh-Yeah!

I try not to spend over $75 a nite., I cannot see spending $300-$500a nite for a room that you really just sleep in.

I think it was $130 at an Embassy Suites in Bloomington.
The last time i stayed there was maybe 9 or 10 years ago.

    Marriott Marquis @ Times Square......$550! :O

It was for a special night, with a Broadway show.

I'll probably never do it again.

$500...but then again we didn't pay for it exactly. It was for an Army conference and ball in DC. Hubby put it on his gov't cc and he got reimbursed to pay the cc bill. The one is DC was the most expensive, usually the cost is $200-$400 for Army balls.
Out of pocket, for personal leave,no more than $120 I think.

Well Ive not traveled much so the most Ive spent would be $60ish but that was just for a night or 2 and no special views or benefits. Im still a cheapie though so even if it was a special night or reason it would absolutely kill me to have to pay more then $100 a night lol

I've never spent over $80 on a hotel. Usually when we are vacationing we don't spend much time in the hotel, so I go for the cheapest without going ghetto. I read the reviews and go for a 3-4 star.

    Wink

We use motels for sleep only an I don't think I've ever paid more than 65- 70 for a night for me and the kids. I have no problem going ghetto for a room for the night.

Well... we paid 2200 for a month when our kitchen flooded. Well WE didn't pay it, but that's what it cost. So that's what... about 75 a night? They had a suite that I wanted w/ a giant tub w/ jets (though not a hot tub... I can't remember the last time I had an actual bath) but it was like 150 a night and the company paying wouldn't pay that much... So that would make around 75 the most we've ever spent.

Unless I was worth a TON of money, I can't imagine spending more than 100 and even the thought of that hurts me a little. It's not so much cause I'm cheap, it's just as you said... it's a room to sleep.

I paid about $100 for a hotel room one night that I really didn't sleep in (more than a couple hours anyways) because it was the hotel that my best friend was staying at that night and I wanted to spend the time with her. Other than that, I think $60 is the most I've paid and that might even be over-guesstimating

I think the most we've paid is around $140. That was when we went to Niagara Falls and stayed on the New York side. That was by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. They charged my parents over $200 per night. They were a rip off. I've stayed in some that were alot cheaper and alot cleaner.
