Thread: Need a hand finding something

I am making salt and sugar scrubs and need to find containers. I am really pressed for time and need to find some to order really soon. So far the cheapest I have found are in lots of 168 for roughly $52, so about .35 a piece. What I need is a lot of about 50 to start, the cheapest price lot possible, 6oz containers with lids, the type that salt scrubs or body creams come in like this.. http://www.essentialsbycatalina.com/...exd.asp?id=827

they don't have to be clear, and I will send a bag of bath salts to the person who finds me the cheapest lot if you want.

Yeah, I know the price is the best, but I don't know if I'll need that many and I have no storage space if I get stuck with them for a while.

edited to add... I just really hate the idea of having 160 unused storage containers laying around and the thought of the wasted money kills me LOL

well it wouldnt be wasted money if you get that many for the same amt of money as you would 50...lol

true that... I think I would just feel better if I don't have tons of them laying around reminding me what I did wrong. I can buy less from someplace, but they are twice the price if you order less than 168. Maybe I can find someone to go in on it with me, but I have no idea who might need or want something like that.

This site allows you to order just one or more, deeper discount the larger the order but they offer plastic and glass jars. Nice wide jars for scrubs for $.70 each. I purchased candle packaging from them and was happy with it. http://www.canwax.com/page/page/331092.htm

OK I am going to check a place in Omaha next time we go, and if that doesn't pan out I'm checking into these ones and seeing which one is the cheapest with shipping. Thanks. I'm kinda at a place where I need to do something, and I think putting the ideas running around in my head to work is where I need to go. Since losing my job last week (and the way it happened) has me wondering if I'll ever make it working for someone else, I figure I may as well blow a few bucks and see where it takes me. The salts I already made and sold went over well, and went fast, so I'm hoping this one does the same. I have a friend that works in a salon and she will put some in her booth for me. Fingers crossed.
