*update* on our hamster :(
Well we took are hamster (precious) to the vet yesterday afternoon. The vet said that it is a really bad infection and that her bowel is also coming out She said they could do surgery but more then likely she would not make it through. She said the only thing we could do was to clean it several times a day with antibacterial soap and hope that the infection goes away and that her bowel goes back into place. She said that "if" the bowel goes back it might just clot up with her bowel and then everything would just back up into her stomach So I am cleaning her about 3 times a day and I plan on taking her back in to the vet in about a week to see if she thinks it looks any better or not (if she makes it that long, the vet really didn't seem to hopeful about the whole thing). I know that I am going to try the best I can to help My son's hamster he is very upset about the whole thing, he reminded me last night to clean her before I went to bed and this morning he reminded me before he got on the bus. It breaks my heart when kids are sad and there is nothing you can do for them except try to explain that it's natural thing in life and sometimes these things happen. Thank you all for listening and your advise.

I hope it pulls through. Hugs to you and your kids. I know it has to be very upsetting for them.

How are things going? .. Hoping everything is OK.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.
~When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure~
