Thread: What did you get for Christmas?

DH and I decided to get a gift that we both can use instead of getting each other stuff.. We got a treadmill with all the fancy features like an ipod dock.. No tv screen but we are going to get a small flat screen for the room it's going in. That comes in on the 5th. My dd got me a gorgeous silver turtle bracelet... each turtles back is a different gem. My 12 yr old ds got me chocolates and a snowman snow globe..

DH's mom got us towels but they are going into 'my bathroom'

For Christmas I got:

From the teachers I work with at school: 5$ gift certificate to andy's, 5$ gift card to McDonalds, 10$ Starbucks gift card, a cute angel pin, and various candies and sweets.

From BF's mom:
A pair of Guess eye glass frames (we are going to get lenses put in next week)
I bought her a set of candles (I feel so cheap LOL)

From BF:
Bath and Body works set with bodywash, lotion, and spray in my fave scent Japanese Cherry Blossom, he took me to see New Moon, and 50$.
I bought him: A pair of jeans and a Pittsburgh steelers throw blanket.

From Mom:
A new coat (hooded mens work jacket, she figured I couldn't destruct that too bad), coffee maker, make-up set, blue throw blanket, cookies, chocolate santa, lotions and bodywash (I am sensing a theme here, maybe everyone thinks I need a bath?) and a cabbage patch doll (long story)
I bought her:
A Kodak printer, extra ink cartridges, photo paper, case for her digital camera, chocolates, lavender incense, and this little sock change purse thing. Out of all that her favorite thing was the sock change purse, she was fascinated with it...LOL.

My girls got the sock change purse too! Aren't those the cutest little things? Fiona has a purple one with flowers and Greta has a white one with black skulls. They love them too...I should have gotten one for myself LOL

well, i got my new jeep (two weeks before Christmas)


and several stocking stuffers, a new purse, lotion and soap from bbw, lip balm (thank GOD, i was almost out! can you say addiction, lol!)

i got hubby a new flight bag, and new camera case. both have to go back though, flight bag too small, camera case too big, lol! (no biggie, it happens every year, lol!)

Madison got a huge pile of AERO clothes and Bella got a big piece of coal (she wasnt happy, but she has been soooo bad lately! mommy and daddy explained that santa and God watch her all the time to make sure she's a good person, and she hasnt been so good lately so that was a warning to be good!) and lots of cool toys that she really loved!

I received a Wii fit plus,Shiatsu massaging cushion ,Coach pocketbook ,Blackberry & several GC's and cash.

DH received a compact refrigerator for his office,blu-ray player and GC's and cash.

DH bought me "Saving Grace Season Two" ... all other gifts under the tree I bought myself. He also regraded the driveway ...

I received so many wonderful things. But the topper would have to be, getting beat up by my 17 yearold stepdaughter cuz her Dad who was OTR would not let her go to someone elses house. She didn't like the fact that I told her to quit throwing and breaking my things. I am disabled, paralized on my left side due to a stroke, so I couldn't defend myself. I'm trying to press charges, but she claims I pushed her, so we shall see.

If you are disabled, paralized on my left side due to a stroke, then I think the police would take that into account.

Maybe you could share some of the "wonderful things" & take your mind off the issue ?

I got a Dallas Cowboy Zippo lighter, and new caster wheels for my desk chair. And a red crown male Betta fish for my new year gift, that died on new year's morning, Sweetie cried like a little kid, he was so hurt his gift died, he is a any kind of pet lover and they sure do love him back. I called Walmart and took Red back and got a rainbow colored one. We took Red and threw him in the Hudson River, for his burial. Sweetie is out of work due to a job injury, he goes back when the doctor says he can, he can't wait, me either.
