Thread: Vent whine need some friendly words

If you have something negative to say please don't post, I'm already in an awful mood.

Ok, I have had a bad week, My friends are not there for me and lots of little things have piled up on that. Here are the three bigs irritations, the rest I won't even bother to post, lol.
So here's my vent. Hoping someone can get me out of my funk.



I called my best friend of thirty years who lives across the states from me last week. I called to tell her hey did you realize today is our 30 year anniversary of being friends!! I was excited and wished she lived closer so we could celebrate. She says Wow time flies, I wish I could talk but we are heading out to a birthday party. Ok no problem she was busy. Then no call back or nothing. I feel like she could careless about something that means a lot to me.
This week I call her because my son's (who we adopted from foster care) Bio-Mom had contacted her previous caseworker to let her know she wants picturs of him and has gotten a hold of our address and will come out here if we don't send them or take us to court. We had said 9 months ago we would occassionally send her photos if she wanted and provided us with an email or address to send them to. We never heard back, nothing at all. I am upset she acquired our address and is making threats when it's not my fault she did not provide us with contact info. So I call three freinds asking them for advice. One I talked to her Mom who said she was at the grocery store and would relay the info when she got back, Two I left messages for telling them what it was about. No one called me back all week.

Wednesday, I contacted a seller on Craigslsit for a play kitchen for my son. I saw pictures and told her yes I want it for sure. It was late at night and she said we would need a truck and could pick it up in the AM and gives me her address and phone number. So I called my Stepdad so my DH can trade cars with him for the day and my DH trades shifts with someone at work so we can go get it. It was a Step 2 kitchen that sells for 299.00 at Toys r' Us for 75.00 and I thought it merited making all this effort. So I call her at 10 am to see if she's ready for us to pick it up, no answer. I get an email at 11:30 saying, "Sorry It's SOLD, I had over 30 emails and it was just crazy so I had someone pick it up earlier this morning!!!!!


Ugh. I usually do not get depressed and am an easy going person that tries to remember as long as my family and I are healthy, everything else does not matter. Today, I just feel bummed and have no one to talk to about it. So if you read this thank you!!
