(((hotwheelstx))) I know exactly what you are saying. My doctor actually told me that I could drive myself there and back. My husband said no I am driving you, thank goodness. It would have been a very rough drive home for me. I really think they should prepare us that it can hurt like heck. Maybe there are some people it doesn't but for you and I who it does the warning would have been nice. I am worried that one of yours is swollen more than the other. I hope you can get into the doctor tomorrow.

Took out a plug and inserted 4 small pieces of metal for upcoming mam's in the future to check those first. I have to wait on the results. Said it should take about 10 days or so.
Did the scanner thing on breasts. Then took that other thing that was like a stapler (kind of) poked me 6 times on each side. I poked six times with that stapler machine. Those needles were longer than I was shown at my ob/gyn's office.
I wish they would of been more specific on what they were going to do and how long I would have "discomfort" as they called it. I even asked if it was worse or easier going to the dentist and having work done...including the numbing. By far going to the dentist.....nope, not this time. I'd rather go to the dentist then have this done again.
BeanieLuvR,
I was told the same thing. I changed my mind at the last minute and asked Aggie to go with me. He doesn't really like going to the dr. with me...especially this kind for anything. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GLAD I asked him to go. I could of driven myself home a couple of hours after the procedure. It would of been difficult, though. My right side including my upper arm and armpit are bothering me the worse. Left side still hurts it's the right that I'm worried about. Hopefully I can get into see my dr. today. If not, I'm sure he'll call something in for me. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy....really I wouldn't. Hurts like hell.

I had one done two years ago. I didn't feel any pain during or after. I too , had the little metal peice put in. I would go see your doctor asap.

What I don't understand is why put us through the torture of the plug thing. I know I was suppose to have a biopsy done a few months ago on both sides. I have some big growths that are growing. In my opinion, just go ahead and take them out instead of doing two surgical procedures. I know for one I can't afford the first one (reason I haven't had it done yet) let alone the second one to have them removed. Besides the expense of the procedure itself, I will have to miss a couple of days of work which I can't afford to do.
