Thread: Omg

A friend of mine called me tonite and started talking about another friend of ours that I havent seen in a couple years. the first friend THOUGHT she had updated me about her, but she didnt. It seems our mutual friend Kelly was in a bad car wreck mid June. Her worthless ex husband made her get up in middle of the night and drive their son over 100 miles to drop off son. ( he was and still is physically abusive to her so she does what he says even tho they no longer live togetther) on her way home she fell asleep and wrecked. the car rolled 4 times, twice on top of her. She layed in a field for HOURS before a highway patrol happened to see something in a field , which was her.
Her nose was literally pushed into her face. Her pelvis crushed. 5 ribs broke on one side 3 on another. legs broke, ankle broke bad. her left side of body is all broke. She was in a medical induced coma for a month. She has a tracheotomy. 2 tubes up her nose, one for air one to hold her nose in place, which they had to pull her nose out of her face. her face is swollen twice the size of normal. They dont know if she will walk again because of pelvis and ankle, and they arent sure of brain damage yet. She cant talk because of trach. Please pray for Kelly.

he wont feel anything.. will probably blame her for falling asleep... men like him only care about one thing... themselves... one of these days he will be with a woman with big brothers who will beat him within an inch of his life and then MAYBE he will learn.

Wow that is so sad.

All the ex cared about was where/how his dog was. Her 16 yr old son basically visted her while in a coma then mentioned going to get drunk.
Kelly used to be a alchoholic. but several years yrs ago she got sober, and started working all the time .. straightened up her life real good. She didnt deserve this... I know she got a restraining order against the ex, but he still calls her all the time and anytime he wants his kid she has to bring him to him . she is afraid if she says no, he will come and trash her house and her like last time, where he literally broke every window in the house throwing her thru them.

OMG! Your poor friend. First of all, to have to deal with a sorry-ass "man" like him, and secondly, to have to go through the nightmare of reliving that crash in her head and the physical and mental healing of it all.

You are so right, fleabones...Kelly doesn't deserve that. No one does. I will pray for a full and complete recovery. Please keep us updated.

Oh, my goodness. I will certainly say a prayer for her tonight. What a blessing that she changed her life, and how sad that she had that man as a negative and now such a huge obstacle.

Those relationships are hard even after the guy is gone because you always have that fear.
