    Anyone...

know of a good site to find information on a medicine? My son was just put on a calcium channel blocker and a pancreatic enzyme combination and the little handouts just said what they're used for and what medicines to not take with them. I like to have an idea of the the possible side effects. Thanks.

www.pdrhealth.com is a good one. Is he on pancrease (generic, pancrelipase) by any chance? I've been on that for some time and can give you some insight.

Yep, he's on pancrease. Takes 3 pills a day, which he's going to hate. Any insight would be great.

Thanks for the site. I'll go look up verapamil and hopefully find out some info.

Didn't the Pharmacy give you the info when you got the prescription filled? I know Walgreens and CVS both give the info with any medications I have ever gotten filled.

Yeah, they gave me a piece of paper that said what the medicine was used for and what medications to not take, how to take the medication, overdose information, and a caution for breast-feeding. For side effects it just says "This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088."

I know I can go back to the pharmacy today and get information because every other prescription we've had filled there has had that information. This seems to be missing a page. When I posted the thread the pharmacy was already closed.
