Sun. was truly a sad day for me.
Woke up Sunday morning and I knew it was the 3rd, 18 years ago my mother died on that day. I got up and said a prayer for my mom, and thought OK, I am going to do something. Up the street from me was a big auction. DH and I went up, DH only stayed awhile then came back home, I was yakking with family and friends. Little while later DH comes for me telling me that something was wrong with Luc (my fur baby). I flew home and he could not get up. His one leg just would not move. Poor baby was trying so hard to get up and just kept falling. Called our Vet and she said she would meet us at the office. We had to put Luc to sleep. He either had a slight stroke or something. Luc would have been 17 years old on July 30th. We got him when he was 4 weeks old and in all the years we had him, he had never been left home alone. We took him everywhere we went. I spent 24/7 with him and now that he is gone, I am completely devastated. No matter where I was in the house he was with me. It is just so hard and for some reason, I just am not doing a very good job of coping. I know he is much better, but I just miss him so much. This is sad to say but Luc had a better and kinder life than alot of children, he was never hit, always fed on time-in other words he kind of ruled the house but we loved it and we loved him.

awww I am so sorry for your loss...losing a pet is one of the hardest things...I know how you feel

Oh God how horrible for you to lose your baby on today of all days. I lost my mother on black friday then lost my baby on new years eve. Although there was time between it was totally devastating to me. I hope you can get through this. I feel for you , I really do.

So sorry, it's hard to lose our furbabies. Go to www.petoftheday.com All the people there are pet lovers and have had a loss of one at some time. They may be able to help you in your grief. It doesn't help that your mother died on the same day and only makes it that much harder. Hugs.

how awful, I'm so sorry Luci. It's always so hard when you have to say goodbye to anyone, especially your baby. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, my thoughts are with you.
