Members and long hair.. curious.
How many of us have long hair or are actively growing long hair and why ?
I have another site I read a lot that has helped me EDITED . Anybody here a member there ? I'm just growing to see how long I can actually grow.Last edited by ahippiechic; 04-27-2009 at 05:08 PM.

Not a member there but...
I don't cut my hair unless I have dead ends.....My hair is mid way down my back and my dh requested 5 years ago that I get rid of my bangs... So I did..

I just let my hair grow until I get tired of it. It's so thick that once it gets really long, it gets really heavy and eventually I just get tired of it. I just had about 13 inches cut off a couple months ago. Mine grows so fast that it'll be down to my waist in no time.

Family trait for me to have short hair with lots of it missing due to wearing a cap..........at least that is what Grandma kept telling me...........

I grow my hair long in the fall/winter and cut it just above shoulder length for spring/summer for the obvious reasons...I will NEVER go shorter then shoulder length though, I just dont like short short hair on me.

I keep mine really short, its just easier that way with school and having to wear the dorky little chefs cap they gave us and then no need for a hair net..

I have long hair. I'd say down to my waist. My bangs a little shorter, down to my boobs lol.
Reason is......
I'm just to cheap to pay for haircuts LOL!Grandma

I have always had long hair. About a year ago i had it cut to right below my shoulders and thank goodness it has grown back out, its about to my waist now but i have had it past my butt. I keep it pulled up mostly but just love long hair even on men!!!

Mine is I guess down to my waist idk but its long lol I use to keep it cut at my shoulders but I hated it(i use to be a huge tomboy and didnt wanna mess with long hair) so Ive been letting it grow but it doesnt grow very fast. I just trim the dead ends off.
No particular reason other then A I hate it short and B my bf likes it long.
I do agree though hair cuts are not cheap(seriously for moving the scissors a little bit you charge that much?)To see the future you must forget your past...otherwise your past will become your future

I never get mine cut unless it starts looking shabby and split ends and just needs trimmed up for some shape or something, and that maybe like 1-2 times a year at the most. But I don't ever get any length taken off, only the dead/split ends. I have done this since forever. like 16 years, and it never gets longer than my middle/half way down my back. I would love for it to grow longer, but it won't.
