Thread: Update and a HUGE THANK YOU!!

As some of you may know, I have 3 foster children in my home. The oldest of the 3 is A*****, who is 7 years old. She has been removed from her parents for some terrible, terrible actions brought upon her by her father. A***** also has a brain tumor. They tried to operate on her back in January and she suffered a stroke on the operating table. Her brain swelled so much that the doctors couldnt put her skull back together, so she has to wear a helmet to protect her brain. The doctors can not determine what the brain tumor is.
A***** just a had a return visit to the childrens hospital to have an MRI done to see what, if anything the tumor is doing. Luckily, the tumor isn't growing, but the swelling hasn't gone down enough for them to operate on her again. She has to return in 3-4 months to have another MRI done. We are not sure what the future holds for her, but we pray every day for a miracle for this sweet, sweet child.
I want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to some of the most thoughtful people here on this forum.....CLARKS4, JUNE72, TRACYB. You have no clue how much you have brightened some of the days of A*****'s life. When she received those cards, she got so excited that she shredded the envelopes to get them open..lol!! Then to top it off, you sent her gifts!! You ladies are AWESOME!!! (we will be planting the flowers this weekend).
We are so blessed to have people like you, and there aren't any words to tell you how much we appreciate your thoughtfulness. God Bless all of you!

What caring ladies! That's great that they have taken the time to brighten up the days of this poor little girl. Kudos to you, too, for taking care of those kiddos.

All 3 of them are wonderful ladies for sure and I pray for the best for Alaina. I do want to caution you a bit since I also was a foster parent and still have my license.
