Letter from Social Security
Anybody get a letter saying they're getting a payment of $250 the end of May or early June of this year? We got one today saying if you're on social security or SSI you'd get it. And if you're spouse is on it they get it too. But only for one of the programs either SSI or social security. They said it was a one time payment under the American recovery and reinvestment act.

My husband is on social security disability, and he received one this week.

My parents got their letter today.
A dog is not almost human , I know of no greater insult to a canine than to describe it as such.

My aunt got the letter last Friday. I'm glad you guys on social security are getting it.

I had heard that that was part of the latest stimulus package but whether or not it was actually going to happen was another matter.

I read about this a week or two ago in the newspaper and it said they would all be mailed out before the end of May.

My dad got something from AARP a few weeks ago saying something about that. Then my grandparents each got a letter last week. My dad hasn't gotten a letter from the social security administration yet (that I know of) but he is still working. He retired about a year ago but still works so that he can have health insurance for my mom. Since he is still working, will he get the money or not, does anyone know?

I am on SS disability and I have not received a letter. Maybe because my DH works and because of his income? Hopefully it is just because I have not gotten the letter yet. We could use the extra money right now.
