    Latest craigslist find-

We've been doing some serious remodeling and upgrading in our house. I had gone shopping today for some supplies at Lowes and just almost purchased the over the range microwave I'd been wanting. Then I decided I wanted to wait another week since I already had so much that I was going to pay for this week.

I was looking on craigslist just a few minutes ago, and saw a listing posted for kitchen appliances. Not only did I just find the microwave, but also a dishwasher was on the same listing. They are both a perfect match for the refrigerator we got. The best part was that I am getting both the OTR microwave and the dishwasher for a total of $85. That's less than half the price that just the microwave was going to cost me. I made a paypal deposit, and will pay the rest tomorrow morning when I pick them up.

I am so glad I decided not to get that microwave at Lowes today.

I think I am going to be addicted to craigslist.

I never find anything reasonable. Well, that's not entirely true. A few months ago we got a 32" tv and a 19" tv from some guy on there for $40 for the both. I've been looking for a deep freeze and the one that matches my needs and space was a 5.0 chest style. They wanted $100 for it, wouldn't come down and it was 7 years old. Man, they are only $150 new LOL

Freezers have gone way up in price, we need a new one and I was shocked at how much they have increased in price. Ours has been a good one. Listen to this-- it is
35 yrs old. This doesn't sound possible but we bought it when our son was a yr old and he is 36 now. It has only been moved from one side of the garage to the other one time so maybe that has something to do with it's longevity.

Things aren't made the same anymore! Hoping the one I bought two years ago will last half that long!

Yeah, a year ago they 5.0 ones were $100 here, give or take. I had an upright I sold when we were really strapped for cash. Wish I had tried to wade through it!

I missed out on an awesome craigslist freebie. Someone was giving away 150 sq ft of wood laminate flooring. Ugh, I was the second one to email him and the first person showed up

Our freezer is from montgomery (sp) Wards. It has been to CA, WA, TX, backto CA, back to IA, and then Hawaii, finally back to Iowa for good. We bought it in 1978, so I don't think moving or not helps keep it strong!!!

Great find, I never see anything that good!!!
