Good luck! I'll say a little prayer that it is not that bad. I think a lot of it has to do with the tech you get. I've only ever had one that hurt like heck. I have titanium pins right along my chest wall and she had to try to get all three of them. No fun at all. The next one I had those three pins and another pin in a different place from another biopsy. The tech I got that time got all of them and no pain. I hope I get her for my next 6 month followup.

Had mine today, not bad. I found something out today while I was there... I have dense breasts so they have to squeeze them more to see through them, but on the upside to this... she said I will stay "perky" (older) longer! lol!!!!!
good luck!!!!

Well in all honesty I go absolutely NOWHERE yesterday. Seems my oncologist is on vacation for the next 2 weeks so I was seem by his nurse practioner. If I had known beforehand I was only seeing her I would have reschedulded my appointment.
Got weighed & got spoken to abot my weight being down to 98 pounds but she wanted to defer that issue to my gastroenterologist who I don't see until May 15th. She is going to speak to my oncologist concerning my weight issue & will most likely consult with my gastro doctor about bloodwork.
Did the mammogran & ultrasound & there was no change in the size of the tumor from November so they want to wait until my annual in July to decide if I do another mammogram then or wait for November for my nexy 6 month follow-up or they may decide to remove the tumor.
I also have a golf ball size lump under my armpit on the side where I had my lumpectomy. They were unsure if there is a corrleation to my previous cancerous lump or if they are un-related.
I see my family doctor on April 13th. Going to have a very serious discussion with him.
I am very seriously considering changing my oncologist. I have been a patient there for 10 years. They never answer the phone, you get sent right to voice mail & then they NEVER call you back.

I hope everything is ok.
Who makes the decision about removing the lump? My surgeon specializes in breast cancer and she is the one who has always decided to remove my calcifications. I know if it were me I'd be pushing for it to be removed. When I was taking my dad for chemo last year I went through the same thing with his oncologist's office. It was like pulling teeth to get an answer from them.

I would certainly be speaking with my primary Dr. about getting referred to a Dr. that would at least have a staff that answered their phone. Sending you some hugs and prayers that you can get a Dr. that will be there when you need them.
