I have limewire, have had it for years, and have never had any problems.

there is no license number needed for limewire. and there is no way to listen to the song before you download howerver while it is downloading you can listen to as much as you have downloaded ( preview so you can cancel the download if needed. right click on the song you download. a real handy thing to do is search by genre.
