I'm so glad I don't live there. I'd freeze my butt off there. Thats why I love Alabama we hardly ever get any really cold days here.

With a low of 15-19 in the next few days and a high in the mid 40's where I live, I'm glad I'm nowhere near the negatives LOL

LOLOL My current temp. is -12.

Here's my forecast where I live in South Dakota:

Tonight: Clear, with a low around -30. Wind chill values between -35 and -40. North northwest wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Thursday: Sunny and cold, with a high near -4. Wind chill values between -28 and -38. West northwest wind at 6 mph becoming south.

I was out shoveling at 10:30 this a.m. and it didn't feel so bad but when I came in and started to thaw out, my feet were hurting....and I was dressed properly. Tomorrow a.m. is going to be brutal. All I can say is they better delay school or call it off my kids are bus riders and I am NOT going to have them waiting outside on the corner for the bus...my husband has tomorrow off so I guess I can drive them if they don't...really not looking forward to it! Supposedly by Monday our temps. are suppose to be 32-35...we will see about that!
