    Anyone know anything about gingerbread?

Holli brought home a bunch of uncooked dough from her foods class and I wanted to bake it up to surprise them. Can you tell I'm already going stir crazy?

What temp do I bake the cookies at? And do I need to grease the baking sheet? And finally, how do I make the icing?

    Thanks!

I just baked a batch at 375 for about 6-7 minutes. I used Pam on the baking sheet and I'm not icing them so I can't help you there.

I would just use some confectioners sugar and mix it with a little milk or water until you get your desired constancy.
If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.

Yep. Pam and for the icing confectioners sugar and milk, you can add some food coloring to the icing too

How did they turn out Jen? I just made Special K squares and Fudge, my Boy's favorites. I love gingerbread but the rest of the family doesn't.

is the recipe for making gingerbread houses different than making the cookies? They made houses with this dough and maybe they baked it longer, but its pretty hard.
