I can see my polling place from my house
I can see how crowded it is before I go...
It took me less than 10 minutes to walk to the school, vote, and come home.

I just drove by mine and didn't see anyone standing outside. I voted a week and a half ago b/c I didn't want to wait for a long time, and although I can't see my polling place from my house it's right down the block

they showed Detroit -- lines wrapped around buildings, etc...
but in our little city, no lines, no wait.
the longest part was filling in all the little circles completely (we have paper ballots here).
I said Yes to marijuana, No to embryo stem cell research, Yes to Wayne Co. Community College funding, No to rebuilding our city's only highschool (which for the record was totally renovated 3 years ago -- the people wanting it to pass this time was because they don't like how the school is laid out.
)
2 days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

This is why I'm glad we live in small communties. In and out in less the 3 mins.
I saw on the news (commercials) this morning where the lines are crazy long.My "adopted" brother. Gone but not forgotten. 8/23/09

Mine took me about 10 mins total. Some people said the line was over 4 hours for them.
