Read if your bored
Today I had "the" most wonderful day of shopping. First went to B&BW and got the free scents thing. DH did not want to go in and get one (I printed 2 coupons)(I told him if he did not, when we got home I would put on my "I run with scissors" T-shirt and our house is not big enough for him to outrun me. He took the coupon and went in. Got the hand wash $3.00 to get the free scents thing. Then went to WalMart (ho hum I hate our new Super Duper Walmart, everyone talking in cell phones and not watching where they are going) then we went to KMart. Yahoo, I see these signs .99, they are all over the clothing dept. I swear, I started to drool and hyper-ventilate and took off over there. Got shorts in every color with tops, blouses and got my grandson a bunch of really nice knit shirts. All for .99 each. The cheapest original price on anything was a top that originally had been $8.99. Made out like a bandit. OMG I was so excited, nothing like a good bargain to get my blood moving. When we were leaving the store, (I did not know it at the time but we are under a very strong wind advisory, even telling tall vehicles to stay off the road) there was this shopping cart going like a bat out of h*ll down the parking lot, a woman with her grandson tried to stop it and almost broke her fingers. I am out there yelling "Run little shopping cart run, the highway is over there (I am pointing to the highway) and you will be free. Then DH, who was following way behind me stopped the cart. The little grandson asked his grandma why that guy stopped it while I am still yelling "Run little shopping cart run". Grandma said well if it would hit a parked car it would do alot of damage. Then the little boy asked me, why was the cart running away, I told him that, that particular shopping cart was just tired of living at KMart. The boy seemed to believe that, but then asked me why that mean guy with me stopped it. I just told him, that DH used to be a cop and that was part of his job. The grandmother was laughing so hard at all this going on. I got into the car and about wet my pants I was laughing so darn hard. Imagine a runaway shopping cart giving me my laugh for the day. The clerks in KMart saw DH stop the cart and bring it in the store and went up and thanked him, which was very nice. Talk about giving the people in the parking lot a good laugh, we sure did that....It doesn't take much to give me a good laugh...
