Can anyone help me with some research?
I'm looking for statistics on privileged kids committing violent crimes. I can find statistics on everything else but this. Any help would be appreciated. I am doing my final research paper for my English Comp class, its on juveniles committing violent crimes, and I'd like to include some statistics that aren't minority or poverty based. TIA!

Hey that paper sounds like it will be a good read. I have no help to offer you but I hope you'll get a few offers to assist in your research & afterwards, post some of it here for all us to read!

I hope it'll be good. This is the first time the instructor has given the same topic to the entire class and I desperately want it to be good so I can maintain my A. I can find statistics on age, race, income levels, but not one solid piece of information on privileged juveniles who commit violent crimes. I don't intend to make it a big part of the paper, but my angle on the paper was going to be the difference between the likelihood of low income juvenile offenders being tried as adults compared to the percentage of upper income juvenile offenders, and the long term affects. I think I'm going to have to take a different course. Obviously, lower income kids are far more involved in violent crimes, so maybe Ill go for early intervention and warning signs... Thankfully I have three weeks to come to a final paper.
How would I go about posting a paper on here? I mean, where would I store the document do it could be opened by others? I got an A on my Life Changing Event paper and I'd love to share it.

Before you give up on the original topic - contact the juvenile justice court system I bet they have those statistics available. HTH
