I think it's interesting to see that the vote is pretty evenly split. Looks like most the polls you see on TV

McCain/Palin
I love my girl! The choice of Sarah Palin is what pushed me over to the McCain ticket. Otherwise, this may have been the first year I did not vote for a presidential candidate, and I've voted in every election since I was eligible, even the little one's.
I told my kids once that it is amazing that more people don't vote. In some instances, my vote was actually worth anywhere from 10-100 people based on the percentage who did not vote.
For whoever wins (and of course, I'm hoping for McCain/Palin), I just hope that we have good turnouts of educated voters. If you're voting just because it seems like the "popular" thing to do, and you have no idea what the issues are, I really believe you shouldn't vote at all. So people, get educated, know your candidates, and see who aligns up with your way of thinking more closely.
Here's a good link to find out where your thoughts line up with what candidates, and if your pick was who you thought it would be.

Thank you to everyone that responded and voted.
I was very curious as to where everyone was standing on this because I seem to see more conversations about Obama on here.

There may be more conversations about Obama here, but you notice McCain is leading in the polls by 10? .. Obama has 40% and McCain 50%.

On yahoo I think where i saw it, McCain is pulling ahead by a slim margin. I really don't understand however how they can determine by state?
Just because it goes by REP, DEM? ALOT of people I have heard ARE going to or at least thinking of voting outside of their party lines BECAUSE they don't like the other candidate. My "adopted" brother. Gone but not forgotten. 8/23/09
