Kinda makes me wonder how old the baby is, if its a little on the dog could suffocate it? why on earth dont they have a crate to train the puppy? Just plain gross but mainly the baby probably covered in diaper rash or they just dont care to change him/her often enough. IDK but it makes me think of all kinds of awful stuff so I dont wanna read anymore.

I agree! I have always been opposed to co-sleeping. Even if you are a light sleeper and don't happen to roll over on your baby the baby could get close enough to you where it could suffocate. If bumper pads are now considered dangerous I don't see how sleeping with your baby could be considered safe. In my opinion the safest place for a baby to sleep is in it's crib.

Co sleeping, though, it seems unsafe is actually considered safe and approved by many pediatricians. I didn't co sleep with my babies but I would if I had it to do over. Our son did sleep with us. I don't remember at what age he started but I remember trying to break him when he was about 3.

I guess it depends on the person. Even if pediatricians approve it I still don't feel it's safe in my opinion. It's just not something I would want to do anyhow. I personally don't want kids sleeping in the bed with dh and me. It's our bed. lol When the baby is born she will sleep in her crib and even when she gets older she will not be allowed in the bed with us. I made that mistake with my second born and will not be repeating it again. lol

Kids don't co-slept with us, My oldest did a couple of times when he was a few years old. He had night terrors, he hasn't had them since we moved from that house. Kids and animals are not allowed to sleep in dh's and my bed. Our dog, sam, sleeps on our bedroom floor but not on bed.

That is just nasty to sleep like that, I can not imagine what that baby is dealing with with diaper rash.

i had bed bugs in college. they are not attracted to pee they are attracted to the co2 that you breat out. they are basically mosquittos that you cannot kill. We ended up throwing out an entire couch that was infested.

Maybe the bites arent from bedbugs, but from fleas. If the baby pees in the bed,the puppy will pee also to cover up baby pee to mark his territory. If a dog ever pees in your bed,it is time to ban the dog from the bedroom. In a dog's mind,he/she is marking that bed as his,and he is working his way to becoming the Alpha dog if you allow him/her to mark your bed and still allow him/her to get in the bed.

We didnt do the co sleeping thing. My 3 kids were breastfed but they still didnt sleep in the bed. I wouldnt be able to sleep,I would be worried about something happening to them. It wasnt right for me but to each their own.
A dog is not almost human , I know of no greater insult to a canine than to describe it as such.
