Question Anyone been to/live in Miami or Puerto Rico?

Sis-in-law will be 40 In Feb & she wants to be somewhere warm on the beach, drinking so she can forget about it....LOL! She wants me to go with her since my B-day(I wont be 40) is in Feb also. A girls only vacation...Wooohooo!

We are trying to decide where to go. Anyone ever been, live there or any other ideas for warm sunny places in Feb?

    Thanks.

lol,I lived in Clearwater Fl for several years, the beaches are snow white, feel like baby powder, the sand does. The water is truelly turq.blue,I had never seen anything like that before,I was instantly in awe.So many things to do there, sponge docks are close too. Much cheaper than going to Miami. Clearwater sets on the western Gulfcoast, close to Tampa, and many other cities.***** nice place to be in Feb.

I would suggest a Caribbean cruise. You can visit a few islands/ports and Feb is a great month to go (not hurricane season)

We were thinking that option also. Thanks. It would be nice to visit a few different islands.

If you go on a cruise make sure you have applied for your passport really soon. The waits are still pretty long for them.

Clearwater does have some wonderful beaches. Most of FL does - but I would avoid Daytona Beach in February - race week, bike week and spring break make it a pretty busy place.
