George Carlin Fans - Premiere Episode of SNL is on Tonight!
I remember this well. The very first episode in 1975 with George Carlin as the first host. Andy Kaufman was a guest. There's nothing like the early years and the "Not Ready for Prime-Time" Players! Check your local time.

Thanks for reminding me. You know all these years I never knew he was the first host. Shame he had to pass to find out.

So ironic that George and Andy are gone. And let's not forget original cast members Gilda Radner and John Belushi.

Oh, who can forget the Land Shark "Candy Gram" or the Killer Bees. SNL has not been the same since the exit of the original cast.

I love me some George. I have loved him since the first time I heard him back in the '70s. The funny thing about him is that he isn't joking, he is stating facts. Like they say, life is funnier than fiction.
