Yes, I saw that too on some news program where they were testing "as seen on tv" products....

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.

Please don't use that stuff on your body. If you haven't gotten it off by now get some regular nail polish remover. The acetone is what will take it off.

Have you checked that link above. They don't do anything. They will turn black if you leave them out overnight not attached to your foot.

Goo Gone is non-toxic, so it will not hurt you. When you apply it to something it gets on your hands and it's fine. It's not like your going to put it on and leave it there .. you put some on a cotton ball, get the goo off your foot and than wash with soap and water.

After having the guys at work use that in our shop, I find that hard to believe. That stuff is nasty - they are not allowed to use it in the shop unless the back doors (roll up door) is open and the fans are on to get the stench out of the building. It will remove just about anything but I would never use it on my skin.

They must be thinking of something else...C&P From the goo gone website faq:
6. How safe is this product? Why don't you put a child-proof cap on it?
Goo Gone has been proven safe, in that it is orally non-toxic and non-irritating to eyes and skin, according to The Federal Hazardous Substance Act. It contains no hazardous air pollutants or ozone depleters. However, it is a chemical and should be respected as one, and kept out of the reach of children. Older children can be supervised and taught to respect Goo Gone just as they would a fruit-scented bath soap or candle.

That is probably my problem with it - Oranges. The only thing that made my Mom sick when she was pregnant with me was the smell of them processing Oranges for juice and concentrate. To this day I cannot stand the smell and it makes me sick as a dog and that includes Orange Blossoms - Yuck.
