Lets see,I always always pick up the scratched up scratched off lottery tickets, just to be sure the person before me didnt miss anything, lol,I have won at times between 1.00-10.oo. I look for spare change, makes me feel wondeerful knowing the person in front of me walked right by it didnt see it,after all it was meant just for me,lol. I pick up,baseball caps, towels, anything in good condition,I really love it when people come to our complex pool and leave their towels for days and days. Its like a treasure hunt 24 hours a day.
Oh... lemme just tell yall how bad a germaphobe I am. My husband is forever putting hats and headphones on his head when we go places. I literally have a little panic attack and feel like vomiting every time he does it. The person there before him could have had lice. Ugh... I know it's somewhat ridiculous to be this way but I just can't help it. It kills me... I can't stand feet either. I mean seriously they make me sick to my stomach... and my family (who love to walk around barefoot outside of all places) love to put them on me. I guess they'll quit when they have to clean vomit off of them some time.

luv: something else... check with your state!!

those instant win "losers" (in Michigan this is the case) can be turned in, I think 100 at a time, for a drawing for a instant lottery of sorts... My mom used to do that when she was alive... save them and send them in for a second chance drawing.

ok, I found this toybox the other day while pilfering through someone's crap that got evicted... me and about 10 other people!

anyway... no one else wanted the toybox... all wood... and filled with newport packs!

Initially I just wanted the newport packs because the UPC's trade for 25 cents each, and this wood toybox was overflowing with them!! I thought WOW...WHAT A PRIZE!!

Then I got to thinking... I can repaint this wood box and use it as a centerpiece for my "new garden"... and I did!!

We are about half done with the garden...still need to add a butterfly bush, another tree or two, and a fountain...but...this picture is really beautiful (at least in my humble opinion!!)

So glad I'm not the only one I got Taylor a Little Tykes vanity that looked brand new after I scrubbed it off. And a really nice Oriental type rug that looked new after a nice steam cleaner treatment.

I pick up any money and cans. I also check out the reciepts in the parking lots because they have coupons attatched sometimes.
One thing I also get even though its not on the ground, is when i'm at the gas pump, I take the reciept that the earlier person had forgotten to get. I tear them up and trash them.

I came out of the local convience store one day and saw a bright shiny quarter. Well, I bent down to pick it up and it was stuck. Bet the people in the store got a big laugh.
