I'm trying this tonight It looks goooood!
Campbell's® Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
From: Campbell's Kitchen
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1/2 of a 16 ounce package linguine
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free, 25% Less Sodium or Healthy Request®)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions:
Prepare the linguine according to the package directions in a 3-quart saucepan. Add the broccoli during the last 4 minutes of the cooking time. Drain the linguine and broccoli well in a colander.
Heat the butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until it's well browned, stirring often.
Stir the soup, milk, cheese, black pepper and linguine mixture into the skillet. Heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
Grilled Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo: Substitute grilled chicken breasts for the skinless, boneless chicken.
Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo: Substitute 1 pound fresh extra large shrimp, shelled and deveined for the chicken. Cook as directed in Step 2 until the shrimp are cooked through.
Spanish-Inspired Tip: Reduce the chicken to 1/2 pound and omit the Parmesan cheese. Prepare as directed above. Stir 1/2 pound peeled cooked shrimp, 1/4 pound chorizo or ham, diced and 1 teaspoon paprika into the skillet in Step 3.
Indian-Inspired Tip: Omit the Parmesan cheese. Substitute 1 cup uncooked basmati rice for the linguine. Prepare as directed above. Stir 1 teaspoon curry powder and 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin into the skillet in Step 3. Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds, if desired.
Asian-Inspired Tip: Omit the Parmesan cheese. Substitute 1 package (6 ounces) rice noodles for the linguine. Prepare as directed above. Stir 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 cloves garlic, minced and 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root in to the skillet with the chicken in Step 2.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out

I've made this many times,
except I omit the butter, add garlic to the chicken and increase the milk
I almost always use more broccoli too
everybody loves it and so easy to make

I made it and it was good, hubby is not a big pasta manI did do some tweeking though put in more cheese, forgot to salt and pepper the noodles at the end but it's all good because I did the chicken LOL. And instead of adding the broccoli during the last four min. I cooked them with the noodles because I didn't want half raw in there. I had to double everything (btw. you don't get a lb. anymore of creamette noodles you get 12 ozs ) so used a big pot instead of a skillet
Looks like hubby will have to get over it (he said it was good but he didn't eat even half of what he had, kids did though) It's going in the receipe index

I have 2 Campbell's recipes from the 60's. Glorified Chicken and Glorified Pork.
With either you need about 2 lbs. (I prefer boneless, skinless chicken breasts but you can use other parts, or boneless pork chops), 2 T shortening and 1 can of any Cream Soup (Cream of Celery is my favorite). In a skillet, brown the chicken or pork in the shortening. Drain off the fat. Add the soup and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes or until done, stirring often. Serve with your favorite veggies.

I have one called Fancy Chicken I'll have to get exactly how to make it from hubby, I know it calls for Chicken breasts, dried beef (I know you line the dish with them) cream of chicken soup and sour cream, It's good but has to bake a while. It's an old recipe from his sister.
