    Sugar in the raw

    So, what's so special about it?
    It has the same calories & sugar content as granulated - is it really better & if so, how?

    I like it because it is not so processed,it has a better taste a little more costly but a nice treat.

    I love it...to me its a little richer in flavor..not as rich as brown sugar though. I sprinkle it on muffins and things like that before baking....makes the top crunchy.
