If you are talking using chicken instead of steak this might work for both. Sautee green onions, mushrooms, crushed garlic in butter. Grill meat and when meat is done put on platter. Pour sauteed stuff over meat. Pour a little brandy (about a cup or so) on it and light it on fire. Put fire out. The brandy flavor goes into the meat and helps tenderize it.
Remember, sautee, grill, pour, fire, and eat.......

Thanx! It turned out pretty good, but I didn't have brandy so I used bourbon.
