Thread: I am scared now

dh just got home from work. he walked in and said someone asked him for a ride. This guy was walking up the road and happen to see dh outside. He said that his grandmother is in the hospital and needs a ride into town. It is 9:00 at night, with all the things you hear about in the news I am scared to death. Dh took our oldest son with him. I am going to be a nervous wreak till they get back.

I love that he is helping others, I just worry that it isn't going to be a good person. ya know

I know what you mean. We live off of a major highway and a guy showed up at the door one day, scared me as there was no vehicle, as it turns out he broke down on the highway and walked here. dh took him to town, but fear set in after they left of what might happen. all turned out ok but I do know exactly what you mean. Im sure they will come home safely....unfortunately its our nature to worry, right?

That is all I can think of, is all the things that can happen. I am glad someone knows what I am going through right now.

how long does it take to go into town and back? we need to keep you busy while they're gone or you will be a basket case by the time they walk in lol

I just looked up where this guy asked for a ride to and it is a good 30-40 minutes away. I am going to call him in a few minutes and see how it is going. Hopefully he wont end up taking him that far. I know I sound mean but I am worried about my family.

I would call now...lol. I would be a nervous wreck myself. I would be on the phone with them the entire way, no kidding.

He just called, they dropped the guy off and on the way to get gas and come home. I feel so much better. Kind of embarrassed for making a big deal of it but I started to panic when they left. Thank you for replying and helping me out.

I was going to but I didn't want him to drive and be on the phone at the same time.

Call and ask to talk to your oldest child...lol. Sad aren't I? I just know everything will be ok, I just am a worrier, wish I wasn't though. Please keep us updated.
