NovaSure Anyone ?
I want to get the procedure done . I want to know what to expect.I would like to know about experience with local anesthesia . I don't have insurance and plan on paying out of pocket. I really look forward to getting this over with but want to know what to expect , I have had 2 babies by c-section and a tubal ligation in 18 months so I can handle pain. BTW how do you know if you chose the right doctor for the procedure ? I cant seem to find any local patient testimonials the ones I have found are basically doctors describing the procedure online, and both sides of the coin from women who say it's the greatest thing and women who say I should have never done it Now I need A D&C I'm confused...... Help Anyone?
Thanks in advance ! Have A Fabulous Day!!!

It was the best procedure I ever got. I didn't have any pain at all. I was out to dinner later that night. I just took it easy for the rest of the week.
A D&C is only a temp thing and you might need to do it again in the future. My insurance covered it but I think I had $1000 copay which was worth every penny....no more heavy periods. Last month I didn't even have one.
The doc inserts a wand that fans out and sends electrical pulses that basically sheds the wall lining. It only takes half an hour but the anesthesia recovery time takes longer to wear off
