Thread: Poll: Vacation this year?

We take a big family vacation every 2 years no matter what. We're going to Florida the last week of October for Halloween at Disney World. Its going to be interesting with the older kids plus a 3 year old and a 3 month old LOL

I normally don't get a vacation but this year I will be going on two. My BF and I are driving to Canada at the end of July for a week. I'm really excited because I've never been there. He was raised there and we are going to see his parents.

Then in September I am going on a cruise with my sister, my mom and some other females. We are cruising out of San Diego to Ensanada and Cabo San Lucas. This is my first cruise and talk about excited. This cruise was my Christmas present from my sister

I do not like to travel at all. Never have.

I have a chance to go on a church paid weekend to Mauldin this year, Actually paid for by the Golden Harvesters. I will get motel rooms for any senoir that wants to go, I will arrange transportation, and I will prepay restaurants. But I am not going. I hope all that wants to go, is able to be there. I hope everyone has a good time and stays safe but I am not going. I have told them that and most are ok with it. One man keeps telling me I am a terrible president and I told him if he was not satisfied to vote some one else in next time but I am not going.

I just do not like to travel.

That was my thought exactly. Heck I have a ton of vacation time at work but who wants to come back to a pile taller than I am of work to do. It is like being punished for not being there. I usually just take a bunch of 3 day weekends and hang out at the house rather than deal with the tourists. When you live in the # 1 tourist destination it is really hard to want to go out much.
