Mmmmmmmmm glad you enjoy. I think it's supposed to be 2 TB sugar NOT 2 C (although I found a recipe that calls for 2 C) - next time I try it I'm doing 2 TB - it browns up too easy due to all the sugar with 2 C of sug.

You're welcome. It's some gooooood stuff ain't it?

I was wondering about the 2 cups! Yesterday I was looking through a new cookbook I had and had mentioned to dh that there were 2 recipes for beer bread, one using 2 tbs. sugar, and the other using 5 tbs. sugar. Other than that, they were the same. I guess if you want a sweeter bread, use a little more sugar. Either way, beer bread is yummy!
