    Mini Blinds

I was just wondering how many of you have these? I used to in our old house but since we moved the house had the older roll down blinds (which) are alot easier to keep clean but they are old and I cannot find them anywhere so I think I am going to go with Mini Blinds I just need 3 so that wont be to bad.

I have vertical blinds - my Springer Spaniel decided she like to put her foot through the mini blinds so that she could stick her nose through and see outside. So those were destroyed in about a day or two. With the verticals she would just push them aside and see out the window. Now I just wish I had taught her to clean the "dog nose" prints off the windows.

I have them, I hate them! I have them on every window in my house except a huge window in my office which I have bamboo shades.
I hate cleaning those damn mini blindes and I have ALOT of windows in my house.
I'm in the process of selling this house and moving north and my next house will NOT have mini blinds.

Amen--my sentiments exactly. In my living roomm I have lavelor which cost quite a bit but they are even worse to clean. My bright new idea is that when they get really bad, I am going to watch for sales and sometimes you can find them for $3to4 dollars and I am just going to get new ones.

I hate mini blinds too.....I have them on all my windows as well and they are an extreme pain to clean! They get dirty quick too it seems. I am in the process of replacing my blinds with just curtains so I would suggest if you can get away with using just curtian dont get blinds. My grandma used to have the roll top ones and they are much easier...I havent seen any in years, have you tried Kmart? Of if you have a Meijers they might have them there.

I have seen the shades at Walmart. I know that Lowes has them too and will cut them to the size you need.

No matter what type of blinds you have, they are a REAL PAIN to clean. If you ever consider window replacements, get the ones that have the blinds between two panes of glass. No more cleaning!!

My brother has those on his house and loves them, especially since his cat can't get fur all over them.

In my bedroom I have bamboo blinds under curtains cuz the bamboo ones are a bit see through. The living room and kitchen have mini blinds, which I hate. All the other rooms have curtains because the kids kept breaking the mini blinds.
