What do I need to know about buying a Pug?

My little Lexie has her heart set on one so we figure she will get one for Christmas this year (gotta save up all that money lol). Since she is my only animal lover out of 4 kids I want to continue to encourage that love. She is only 4 but she is so helpful with animals and actually more responsible about taking care of them than my older kids ever will be. I just wanted some tips on what to look for when picking one out.

clear nasal passages... is all i really know i have a friend who has 2 and they have clear nasal passages but they snot out horrible it is gross.....

yeah was reading that because they dont have the long nose like some dogs they can get sick easily too

but hers are i guess cute im not a lil dog person. and i was told they have a lot of accidents because they have such small bladder

I so am not a little dog person either although I have had some nice ones in the past. I honestly thing the little pugs are just ugly lol but after she has watched Milo and Otis a million times she just has to have one. Everyday we have to sit here right after she gets up and google pug images lol I guess you know the puppy that isnt even concieved yet will be named Otis lol

i hate it she comes here with her sniffly snooty dogs and they sound like lil gremlins running around my lab runs them over it is funny i hate them lol

Dont forget to check out the classifieds. I have a subscription the AR. gazette, so you can use my password and user name when I'm not using it if you don't have a subscription. Wouldn't want us logged in at the same time. LOL

too cool, I think I found somewhere on the net that there is a breeder in Conway or somewhere around there. I was looking at the AR gazette site one day trying to find the stories on the Little Rock tornado last week and saw you have to have a subscription to get in and I was like well duh stupid if you could read if for free they wouldnt see any papers lol

princessarky, look up puggles, they are a mix of a pug and beagle and are just so darn cute, it you show her one of those she may change her mind..lol
