At most jobs I would have been able to do that but not in the hospital food service department where I prepare the patient trays. You can't even have a hard piece of candy in your mouth. No drinks in the depatment, nothing at all. Yet the kitchen is filthy & all I can think is "these poor ba$tards, if they only knew."

I will try the antibiotic cream at night & see if that also helps. I guess I need to start taking some kind of wash cloth with me & wash me face during my breaks.

Wouldn't lemon burn like the dickens, if you already have a zit? This one scares me, I don't like burning sensations. I'm a whimp!

The lemon probably won't burn any more than the alcohol would.

go to the store and buy the strong alcohol, I believe it is 94%. Just put it on a cotton ball and use it a few times a day... only on the zit.
as for the toothpaste and the lemon, not good for your skin. Try to not eat acidy foods too, like tomatos, citrus fruits. Calamine lotion will dry them up real quick too.

That is what I was going to say .. lol.

Can't you put the hat closer to your hair line so it's not right above your eyes? .. Maybe keep Clearasil or Stridex pads in the car and wipe when you get off work??

That's strange I've always heard the exact opposite. Lemon is a natural ingredient and have heard it's fine to use on your skin but alcohol is so drying that it makes the skin react by producing more oil.

That's why I suggested lemons (I don't use alcohol on my face) I've never had a problem with lemons burning.

Anyhow, I sweat fairly easy & my face is starting to get zits around the edges of where the hats are, what in the world can I do to prevent them? They hurt.
dont wear the hat, you are getting zits there because you sweat there, and oil accumulates. If you have to wear one, try wearing it in your hairline, not on your face. Also, it may help to push it around during the day, so the oil & stuff is not accumulating. I would also make frequent trips to the rest room during the day, and wipe my face down with an alcohol wipe. Letting oil sit on your face is very bad for zits.

I have very oily skin and almost never get zits. They make little blue sheets of paper ( I forgot what they are called) that you can use to wipe the oil off your face. I personally would not use the alcohol as that will just dry your skin out and then it will just produce more oil.

Being she works in the hospital food service department I would hope not wearing a hat wouldn't be an option .. you should have to wear the hat.
