I think Amber Rose is a beautiful name. Old names have come back. My grandmother's name was Emma and it became popular again.

I think some kids never had a chance...lol
But what can you do with certain last names, like Whore. If your last name was Whore it probably really does not matter what your first name is....for example like Mary Whore or John Whore...these people would be doomed from the get go.

On the flip side, I had an instructor in college (he taught Advanced Accounting) from Canada, and his name was Nicholas Christmas...his wife's name was Mary and he named his daughter Noelle.

That is just cruel. My kids go to school with this kid.. poor thing his real name is Bubba Fish.
I went to school and this kids name was Boy. Like his parents couldnt go thru a little effort to give him a name.

I think Amber Rose is pretty. My son & dil are going toname their baby, who is due in April, Isabelle Rose. She said she heard it on a soap opera once and liked the name. My daughter wanted to name her daughter Katie Gardenia but she named her Kathryn Allyssa instead and we call her Katie. I must say, I like Kathryn Allyssa best. One of my DDs is named Amber, I like it. I also have a Melinda, Sara and a Jessica. I don't like trendy names.
