My Dad died 16 yrs ago this month from a heart attack at age 47. It happened very suddenly & unexpectedly.
He was a wonderful father & man.
I remember him selling his Red Cadillac just so us 3 girls could have a Christmas when money was tight.
He was a big man who could be scarry but he always loved us.

I don't like tattoos but it's a nice gesture. I'm sorry your dad died at such a young age.

I would love to get one in honor of my grandmother. I would love to have one of the portrait kind done. I think that is the only tattoo I've ever thought was cool. But I can't bring myself to do it because of what it says in the Bible. There is something in the Bible that says you are not suppose to mark your body in honor of the dead, nor are you suppose to mark your body with any images of death. I just can't get past that, so for me personally, I would be afraid to get a tattoo like that. Even though I would love to have one like that myself.

Ok, here's the pick I took with a camera phone. I will do one with the digital cam tomorrow. It did hurt much more than the one on my ankle I got a few yrs ago but it only took about 25 mins..thank god!...LOL!
I think it was just a very sensitive spot.
