Just got an email from shakefire! Going to see the golden compass! The is a sneak peek movie!
Waiting for cooler weather- want to get outside and do some walking- Loose more weight!

I'm very curious about this, so please give us your review. It sounds pretty strange, but I'd like an opinion from someone who has actually seen it.

I haven't seen the movie but have read the 3 books. They were interesting books, they didn't undermine my belief in God any tho.

My son has the Golden Compass book. He's had it for a couple of years now and I don't even think he's looked at it. He hasn't really shown any interest in seeing the movie though.

I had heard the same thing from my holly roller X husband formally beater man.....The previews look good so I am so confused on the against god thing???

Maybe it's just the perception of God that some people have. You know, how some people believe in a God that is always on their side, and that sends everyone else to Hell. Maybe they do away with that personification of God.
