Martha Stewart's Mother Dies
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2007 12:35 PM EST
Martha Stewart's mother, Martha Kostyra – who was known as Big Martha – has died at age 93.
Kostyra, who died on Friday, often appeared with her daughter on television offering expert cooking instruction. Martha Stewart called her "my favorite guest" and said she led an "amazing life."
"I am very sad to tell you that my mom passed away," Martha Stewart, 66, wrote on her blog Saturday, posting video clips of them together. "Here's a tribute to Martha Kostyra – Big Martha."

SORRY, About Your Mom Martha!!!!!!!
I love Martha! She's an awesome role model. I may not be as anal about my house as she is about hers, but I certainly learn alot from her (although I do not take stock advice from her), PLUS she's HILARIOUS!!! She can be such a bitch, I love when Lindsay Lohan was on & Martha kept on & on about her partying, it was FANTASTIC! She reminds me of my mother-in-law, smart, quick and vicious!

She only looks good because she has an army of people whom do all her work for her. Then she presents it like she has done it. Buy yes she is quite funny, and don't get too close.

That is sad.
I had seen her mother a couple of times before when she was on Martha's show. She seemed like a nice woman. I saw part of Martha's show the other day when they were making the mushroom top toadstools. I would love to make a couple of those. They were so cute.

I am sorry for her loss. I can't imagine loosing my mommy. But for 93 her mother looked wonderful.
The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.

That's what I was thinking. I didn't realize she was as old as she was but then again Martha is 66 so her mother had to have been up there in age. She certainly didn't look it though.
