Please Help!

I don't know what to do. My best friend just called me to say she got a foreclosure notice for her house in the mail today! She lost her job of 22 and 1/2 years back in December. It is along story, but she got screwed over by her boss! She is a registered nurse and has been looking for a job everywhere, but unable to find one. She has a good chance at one now and is in the third step of the interview process, but that won't help with this foreclosure stuff. She lives in St. Genevieve Missouri and we have been searching and calling everywhere we can think of to get her some help, but it seems none is out there. She has been calling lawyers but they all want a huge amount up front to help and legal aid says since she gets unemployment she makes too much money for help! Ain't that a bunch of CRAP! What can I do to help? What is her next step, is there anyway she can stop the foreclosure? Any advice will be appreciated. I wish I was rich so I could help her. She has been my best friend for 33 years. I am crying so hard right now and feel like crap cuz I can't do anything for her. If any of you know of some way to help please share it with me. Thanks!

wow that is tough......I would think an RN could find a job but might just be in my area where we dont have that many. I sure will keep her in my prayers and I hope all will work out soon
